Description
Le Penseur is an acrylic painting that was featured in the GAIF international exhibit in Seoul, South Korea, and was feature in this post. Le Penseur is a small painting depicting a middle aged man sitting with his head resting upon his fist very much like the famous Rodin sculpture of the early 20th century. The differences lie mainly in the vibrant colors used in paint him as well as the specifics of the pose. In my rendition, I use light blue violet, deep magenta, and a light green in addition to more conventional colors used to depict the human form. The bright palette give a lively feel to the painting and suggests femininity in an otherwise very masculine piece.
The original piece is 8 inches by 10 inches acrylic painting ready to hang with an attached hanging wire. The prints do not come framed.
