Description
Old Man Jim is a painting that I created with oil pastels on canvas board. Oil pastels and canvas boards are a nice combination, and the addition of brushes and oil solvents adds many textural possibilities. I used the solvent and brushes to blend some of the tones and to even out the background very much like one would do with oil paints.
This piece measures 12 inches by 16 inches and was featured in this post on my blog. The original is framed under glass in a simple frame. The prints do not come framed.
